Craig is a Marine Consultant holding dual UK and Canadian Citizenship, he went to sea as a cadet sailing on general cargo and RoRo vessels with Ocean Fleets, on qualifying he transitioned to sailing on Gas, Chemical and Oil tankers. After sailing as Master with Mideast Ship Management he transitioned into a shore position managing LNG tankers with Golar Ship Management in London.

 

In 2003 Craig moved to Houston to be Golars North American representative working with terminals, authorities and charters on the West side of the Atlantic. In 2005 he moved to Vancouver to support Teekays move into LNG shipping taking on a variety of different roles including secondment as a technical advisor to SIGTTO and Manager HSQ and DPA. His final role with Teekay was as Director LNG Ports and Terminals, during this period Teekay won its first contract to build and operate an LNG import terminal.

 

Craig has been providing consultancy services since 2012 and full time since 2017, where his expertise may not cover the services requested, he is often able to draw on his network to provide the required expertise.
